An old Spear and Jackson hand saw, made in England.
The saw is fitted with a nice Rosewood handle, very rare to find any Rosewood handled saws, this was a special commemorative saw.
This old saw still retains a fading Spear and Jackson etching ‘200, Spear & Jackson, Sheffield, Double Century, Made In England, The Worlds Oldest Sawmakers…’
For general info about this tool, please see the Spear & Jackson saw no. 200 review on FindMyTool.co.uk
TPI: 10
Blade length: 22″
Condition: the blade has some black staining/minor pitting, the blade is straight, all teeth present, medallion and medallion surrounding has a partial split, top handle spur has a partial split (very common on old saws), probably would benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
