A scarce Norris A22 Shoulder Plane.

This adjustable, dovetailed Norris plane has a depth of cut adjuster and a wedge securing knob.

The blade adjusting knob is marked ‘Norris, London’ and partially marked with what looks to say ‘Patent, No. 11526’.

The front nose has a partial marking which looks to say ‘Steel’.

Plane Sole Length: 195mm

Overall Length (to end of adjuster): 235mm

Condition: all parts move freely, body and sole has some pitting, tiny, tiny mouth nibbling, please see photos for condition.
