Old Massive Skeleton Door Lock

A lovely old large door lock with key.

We believe this is an old Georgian lock and we believe this type of old lock is called a skeleton lock.

If this is a Georgian lock it dates to the 1700’s – early 1800’s.

From looking at photos of other Georgian locks this certainly looks like it is Georgian.
